Driver (Johny) picked me up at my hotel in Delhi, he was always on time, very nice guy and I felt very safe with him during the entire time (as a solo female traveller in India, that was my first priority). Met my guide upon arrival to the hotel in Agra, also a very nice fella who was great company, provided me with lots of information, took my photos, we had a really nice chat with him during the whole time. The whole tour was insightful and interesting, I just wish I could've stayed longer as India is such a fascinating country, but this tour is a great option even if you just have a few days layover in Delhi/Agra and want to see Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, the Baby Taj, etc. :)
We only had a day in our itinerary to be in Agra and sadly there were no round trip options as all trains were booked 2 months in advance. After reading through some 20 different day trip providers I arrived at IndiaTajTours based on value added to the experience we wanted. Plus most were overpriced for which I felt some were taking advantage of tourists pockets. These guys felt genuine. Our plan was to see 3 things. The Taj Mahal at sunrise, Agra Fort (way better than Red Fort in Delhi), and a view of the Taj from across the river at Mehtab Bagh garden where the black Taj Mahal was supposed to be built. Surprisingly no other provider gave this option but India Taj Tours did. And we didn't care much to see the baby Taj (most others included this over Mehtab Bagh) when hey if you're going to see the Taj Mahal why see second best haha. That being said, they were punctual at picking us up even though our guesthouse wasn't even on google maps. We arrived on time and our guide gave us great vantage points for taking photos (my wife's a professional photographer) and inside knowledge we wouldn't have known without him. Both our guide and the owner of IndiaTajTours are from Agra and that was felt during the trip. BONUS, though we didn't book the option of including food, we got free breakfast and ate to our heart's content. Thanks guys for an amazing day in Agra!
